Shooting with Three at UVA

whew, i'm coming, i'm coming with photos! i know they're delayed but truthfully -- i have not had a spare second to sit down to even upload them in an orderly fashion and figure out what images we're actually working with!!!

nicole & niroop were a gorgeous couple and quite the troopers despite the raging heat and the momentary monsoon. i have never worked with such a calm bride, though she denied she was calm :) i certainly would have never known! why wasn't i born with that talent -- sadly, my heart is always on my sleeve....

here are a few. i truly can't even begin to fish through the 3,000 images, but as i surfed through them in order to organize myself....i found some ones i really liked immediately.....

you know, it was a fluke that i ended up with an additional photographer, but i can't lie -- it was AMAZING!!! i'd shoot with three EVERY wedding if i could afford it :) it was so relieving to know that if i missed a shot....or wanted an additional angle, it was there for me!!! THANK YOU RYAN AND LARA!!!

hi everybody! sorry for the delay between posts!!!

i'm really excited about a wedding i'm shooting on sunday at the University of Virginia!! the bride and i laughed about how every image will inevitably be a winner when you're surrounded by landscapes like this!!!

just point and shoot.....and the odds are in your favor that the image will rock!!!

i had a bit of a scare last night! my assistant landed her booty in the ER from pulling her back out. huge freak out moment! of course i want her to feel better, which i believe she is, considering: the vicoden, the frozen yogurt, and daytime television :) BUT WHAT WAS I GOING TO DO!!!

well, we put our thinking caps on and called up www.kellanstudios.com in lynchburg, virginia where we have some photographer friends, ryan & kelly! ryan's going to hook me up some MUCH NEEDED ASSISTANCE and it means the entire world to me!!!

what started out as a shoot between jill and her new hubby.....turned out to be a shoot for a crew of 20+!!! i'll spare you the extended family shots...we'd be here all day!!!!! but here are a few of my favorites! thanks jill for allowing me to share in this day with you!!!!

Adventures in Photography!

HI EVERYBODY!!!!

I mean....I've been part of the blogging world for quite a few years now, but I was overdue to start a photo-blog for some time. Nobody on my other blogs wants to hear non-stop gab about photography and I now have a definite place where you readers probably won't mind!

It's an exciting time in the Morgan household....I've officially left my valuable, reliable, steady day job for something a little more quirky and adventurous = PHOTOGRAPHY! My husband has been the greatest -- offerring support and love along the way and my family has been nothing short of amazing!

Come along for the ride as I close the door to all that I've worked for, for the last 10 years (if you count college!) in the Communications arena and launch full-speed ahead into something that's been tugging at my heart for a while = my own business!

Upcoming in this crazy chaos....I have a family portrait session that I'm wrapping up and excited to preview for all of you ...as well as a pregnancy shoot for a super close friend of mine and her dear hubby who are expecting VERY soon!!!

Then I high-tail to Charlottesville for a wedding at UVA next weekend....and I'll keep you updated on the crazy summer ahead!
